Tuition Management

Automatic Bank Payment (ACH)—ACH payments, our preferred method, are those payments you have authorized FACTS to process directly through your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved from either your checking or savings account on the 5^th or 20^th of each month.

FACTS Tuition Management

• Parents and guardians are required to participate in the school’s tuition management program.
• Parents and guardians will be responsible for sending tuition payments to FACTS tuition management program.  Any checks returned due to insufficient funds will go through collections and a service fee applied.  (Repeated occurrences will result in a cash only (cash, cashier’s check or money order) status for future payments.)
• Tuition payments are not to be refunded or pro-rated when entering or withdrawing school at off times of the month, unless special arrangements have been made with the Principal prior to entrance or withdrawal.
• Any family who has had a returned check on payments made for St. Mary’s fees, will be required to submit bank checks, money orders or cash as the only accepted means of payment for delinquent tuition or fees after May 10th of the academic year.
• Past due tuition accounts may be grounds for student dismissal until the account is brought current.
• Tuition payments, including late fees (for FACTS) and any other fees must be current (no delinquencies) before a families’ pre-registration for the coming school year will be accepted.  Placement will not be secured until fees, including late fees and tuition is current.
• Diplomas and report cards, and any release of permanent records will be withheld until all fees, including late fees (for FACTS) and tuition payments are paid in full.

 FACTS Tuition Assistance

We are now accepting applications through FACTS for Tuition Assistance for the 2012-2013 Academic School Year. St. Mary’s Catholic School does not discriminate regardless of race, color, ethnic background, social or economic status, or sex.  Since we are a religiously oriented school for the Catholic community, we give preference to members of the Roman Catholic Church, but we also welcome members of other denominations and faiths after our own community is served. Members of other faith traditions are encouraged to seek out assistance sources in their own communities as well, but may be eligible as well, funding permitting and with the completion of all the steps below.

• Registration Fee and Enrollment Forms MUST be submitted to the office before Financial Assistance will be approved.
• Finacial Assistance CANNOT be approved until all requested documentation is turned in and FACTS has forwarded the verified assessment to the school.
• Any Catholic families applying for assistance must also provide the school with confirmation that they are registered and the family (the Catholic parent and child) is active in their parish and in good standing with the Catholic Church as members of the faithful.
• Upon receipt of the returned application with appraisals and recommendations from FACTS, with a recommendation letter from your Catholic Parish, and the payment of the $100 registration and completion of the enrollment packet, will tuition assistance then be considered by the Principal of St. Mary’s.
• The decision concerning the appropriate tuition assistance to be granted will be based upon available tuition assistance funding and the need of the family, as well as participation with the assisting entities.
• Parents receiving assistance may be asked to volunteer beyond what is expected of all families.
• Lastly, non-Catholics may be eligible:
• • A recommendation letter the leader of their faith community stating that you and your child are registered / known members of your faith community, that the family is active in faith-life of your community, and in good standing with faith community as members of your community
  • you must have documentation that shows that you have received tuition assistance to attend St. Mary’s during the active academic school year from an outside source (your faith community, charitable organization, etc) but that it is not sufficient to meet your needs
  • an interview must be scheduled with the Principal ASAP
